A free online workshop will be held on Sunday 6th Sept for the Youth Poetry Slam.

Slam poetry is all about YOUR words, YOUR voice, YOUR story. You can rap, you can rant, you can whisper. Write about climate change, bad haircuts or cats farting. Nothing is off-limits in poetry slam! Come and explore what matters to you.

Open to all young people aged 12-24 living in the Northern Rivers, this workshop is run by professional mentors from Poets Out Loud. Come along with friends, find out more about slam poetry, write something together and have fun. You’ll leave with a finished slam poem and everything you need to enter the Youth Poetry Slam.
