How do we begin to grasp those defining moments in our life that have made us who we are today, let alone turn it into art? As Percy Shelley said, ‘Poetry is a mirror that makes beautiful all that is distorted’.

Join award-winning spoken word artist Boy Renaissance in a journey of self-reflection and writing, as we explore the moments that have made us who we are today. We will turn some of that journey into beautiful poetry using Boy Renaissance’s original writing techniques.

A small number of participants will be invited to share their poems at our free event on 24th Feb. Who We Become: Community Stories from Poets Out Loud.

This workshop is suitable for:

  • Beginners and experienced writers / poets.
