More about our feature:

Tom is a creative generalist (many trades, none mastered) from Sydney. He spent years at the perimeter of spoken word circles. As a kid, Tom idolised Def Jam slams and freestyled at high school parties. But it took a global crisis (and the birth of his daughter) to finally jump into the poetry ring. He was NSW champion and National third place in the 2021 Australian Poetry Slam. He also makes hip hop music as “The Middle” and is the writer for the “Laws of Creativity” project.
