About the feature poet:
Brutal, whimsical, awkward and absurd, Zoe Xanadu is a Vaudevillian trauma transformer and uncertified tea fiend who writes to soothe the voice inside that screams “but why?” Xanadu’s poetry intersects the violence and the beauty of what it means to be human, interrogating the systems that are failing all of us. They see the whole universe in small moments and gently pour pure gold hope into the cracks of heartbreak. They pop up at various queer and disability friendly stand up comedy events across the region, and were awarded a prize from Red Room Poetry during poetry month last year.
