Our final event for the year will introduce a rising star of spoken-word, Pancho Symes. Having won the hearts and minds of our judges in the Youth Poetry Slam, Pancho’s first feature is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
Plus the stage is open for YOU to share your words. Bring it on!

At 18 years old, Pancho is set to become a unique voice in our poetic community – just check out his winning poem from the Youth Poetry Slam. His feature set will include a piece recounting his experience in the Mallacoota bushfires, accompanied by Jaci Symes and renowned jazz musician Martha Baartz. You won’t want to miss this very special performance.

Bring your poem for the open mic! Please keep it to ONE piece each and sign up at the door from 6pm. All kinds of spoken-word, storytelling, and poetry welcome.
