Poets Out Loud presents the SUPER SLAM!! A special event for the Murwillumbah Arts Trail weekend.

SUPER SLAM is an epic battle of the spoken-word! Come see the region’s sharpest wordsmiths battle it out live. Each poet is given just 2 minutes and a microphone to share their most powerful poetic creations with you.

The winning poet will take home $250 (thanks to Michael Spicer Real Estate) and runner up takes $100 (thanks to Pulp Fiction).

Super Slam features Alasdair Carter, winner of the 2023 Nimbin World Cup. Hosted by Sarah Temporal with tunes by DJ Zaziz, this is a larger-than-life poetry experience to engage, entertain, amuse and delight.
